Consulting

I have worked as a therapist, manager, and director in behavioral health for the past 12 years. I have had the honor of working on interdisciplinary teams that included doctors, therapists, nurses, and support staff. This has been incredibly helpful in understanding the perspective of each of these roles and integrating these perspectives into quality patient care and effective facility operations.

Working at the confluence of clinical care and operational excellence, I know how hard it can be to balance these practices—operations metrics like KPIs, NPS, P&Ls with gold standards of care—all equally important. Sometimes it takes an outside party to help you identify specific pain points and implement solutions that support the holistic functioning of the organization.

What can i help you with?

Teammate Resilience building

I’ve learned that it is the inextricable link between teammate engagement/satisfaction, patient care, and efficient operations that make the difference between good and great organizations.

An important aspect of teammate development includes coping with moral distress, secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, and burnout. I use the tenets of mindfulness, values identification, and committed actions (adapted from ACT in the Workplace) to increase resilience in teammates and provide practical solutions and practices that will support the entire system.

Organization Change management strategies

I am uniquely positioned with my background in clinical and operations leadership to support you and your organization to assess the systems at play and unentangle the systems to improve your metrics and take care of your staff.

I can provide you support with a needs assessment, an organizational change management approach, and a strategy for retaining teammates.

My approach to change management aligns with the LHH behavior change model™ (Lee Hecht Harrison).
